Honest picks
Kindness
We practice kindness in small ways — sharing, taking turns, and noticing when someone else needs a hand.
Creativity
There’s no wrong way to make something. I let them lead, mess and all, and see where it goes.
Emotional
Big feelings are normal here. We name them, sit with them, and talk it through instead of rushing past.
Innovation
Simple materials, open-ended play — sock puppets and blanket forts teach real problem-solving.

Why I Started This Site
I wanted one place to keep track of what actually works with my own grandkids — crafts, books, and activities I’d hand to any grandparent looking for something to do this weekend.

I’m Sheila — everyone here calls me Gigi. I’m grandmother to three granddaughters, with a fourth on the way.
